The German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) runs the HIROMB-BOOS Model (HBM) four times daily across the North and Baltic Seas — and makes the results openly available. Two resolutions are now on Datamesh:
900 m — German Bight and western Baltic Sea (25 vertical levels)
5 km — Full North and Baltic Sea domain (36 vertical levels)
120-hour forecasts, updated every 6 hours. On Datamesh, they join dozens of other sources under a consistent API — timeseries or spatial snapshots in a few lines of Python or the Datamesh UI, no zip files, no format wrangling.
